FUE Hair Transplant
A hair transplant is a minimally invasive procedure that involves harvesting hair grafts that are genetically resistant to balding from a donor area (usually in the nape/posterior of scalp) and re-implanting them to a bald area or an area with lower hair density. However, because hair transplant is essentially the art of applying hair and scalp anatomy from an aesthetic perspective, obtaining the desired results makes the skills of the surgeon performing the surgery key to its success. Here at ClinMedica, we perform both the FUE and DHI techniques, the latest breakthroughs in the science of hair transplant, in order to help you safely restore your locks with the least surgical intervention.
PRP therapy is the injection of platelet rich plasma solution into the area targeted . The PRP solution is obtained by taking a blood sample from the patient. The blood is placed in a centrifuge, which spins to separate the platelet rich plasma from the other factors in the blood.
DHI is the latest most advanced technique which consist of extracting the grafts from the donor area using a device called micro motor HD and than transplanting them directly while opening the channels with Choi pen implanter. Both stages are done in the same act.
A: The entire hair transplant is done by the doctor herself and her staff , the staff will help extract and insert the grafts . however, the most important part of the operation which is opening the channels will be done by the doctor.
A: The pain of the local anesthesia lasts approximately from 3 to 5 minutes.
A: There is no difference between the two methods in terms of the results and the density the only difference is that DHI is a direct hair transplant which means it opens the channels and implant the grafts simultaneously whereas FUE we open the channels first then we insert the harvested grafts.
A: It takes 4 days and 3 nights on the first day the driver picks the patient up from the airport to the hotel in order for the second day to have the operation . the third day is rest day then on the 4th day is where we remove the bandage and teach the patient the proper steps of a hair wash from there the driver will drive him back to the airport for his departure.
A: The time gap between the first and second session its within the time frame of 9 months to 1 year till the final results take place.
